Dovestone Sailing Club has sole use of the almost 100 acre reservoir at Greenfield near Oldham.
 It is set amid dramatic scenery in the PEAK DISTRICT NATIONAL PARK off the A635 Greenfield to Holmfirth Road, via Banks Lane. 
It is approximately half a mile from the Clarence Hotel at the junction of Chew Valley Road and Manchester Road Greenfield.
